Safety & Disclaimer
The Thames can be unpredictable and dangerous. Carry and wear the safety gear required under Transport Canada's Small Vessel Regulations: a PFD for each person, a sound-signaling device, a 15 m heaving line, and a manual bailer.
You are responsible for your own safety and for deciding whether conditions are suitable. This site is a reference, not a substitute for your own judgement. Always check conditions before paddling. Recommended flow ranges are guidelines only. Paddle within your abilities and follow all local laws and regulations.
Inspired by and built on the Thames River Paddling Routes Project
The route data, access points, and local knowledge that power this site were originally compiled by the Thames River Paddling Routes Project. Their years of on-the-water research and community knowledge building made this possible. Thank you.
